The boundaries that once separated people from God's presence have been removed through the work of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 9 reveals how Christ accomplished what the old covenant sacrifices never could, securing eternal redemption and opening the way into God's presence. Instead of living behind fear, guilt, or insecurity, believers are invited to walk in the freedom Christ has already provided.

The old covenant pointed forward to something greater, and that greater reality is found in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 8 reveals that Christ serves as our perfect High Priest, mediates a better covenant, and offers better promises. Through Him, God writes His law on our hearts, grants direct access to Himself, and provides complete forgiveness of sins. Rather than living in the shadows, believers are invited to live in the fullness of what Christ has accomplished.

We often try to present a filtered version of our lives, hiding our struggles and fearing what lies ahead. But Jesus entered our world without a filter—fully embracing our humanity, suffering, and even death to bring us freedom. Because of Him, our scars become testimony, our fear of death is replaced with hope, and our access to God is fully open. Living without filters means stepping into that reality and experiencing the fullness of life in Christ.

Jude may be Scripture’s most neglected one-chapter book, yet it ends with its most beloved doxology. In it, Jude pivots from celebrating shared salvation to urging believers to “contend for the faith,” resisting the world’s values and the presumption that grace cancels holiness. His pastoral strategy is mercy on the move: draw near to doubters, rescue those near the flames, and practice compassion without compromise. The gospel both protects and propels us—Christ keeps us, and Christ sends us.
