1. Don’t Hide Your Scars
Jesus Meets Us in Our Brokenness
Jesus stepped into humanity fully, without distance or disguise. He did not remain behind divine separation but entered into suffering so that salvation could be accomplished. His willingness to suffer reveals both the seriousness of sin and the depth of His love.
Scars as Evidence of Grace
What feels like damage is not disqualification. Scars tell a story of redemption. Rather than hiding what has been broken, those places become visible reminders of restoration. Through Christ, what once marked failure becomes a testimony of grace.
Living Without the Mask
There is freedom in honesty. Instead of presenting a polished version of life, there is space to acknowledge need, struggle, and growth. This openness creates deeper connection and displays the work of God in real ways.
2. Don’t Fear Your Grave
The Reality of Death
Fear of death shapes how people live, often creating anxiety about what lies ahead. This fear can quietly control decisions and perspectives.
Jesus Entered Death Fully
By taking on flesh and blood, Jesus became vulnerable to death. He did not stand at a distance from it—He experienced it. Through His death, He confronted and defeated the power behind it.
Freedom from Fear
The resurrection declares that death does not have the final word. What once held power no longer defines the future. Death is no longer a prison but a passage into life with Christ. Because of this, fear does not need to govern the present.
3. Don’t Diminish Your Access
A Better Way to God
Access to God is no longer limited or distant. Jesus, as the perfect high priest, removes barriers and brings direct relationship with God. There is no longer a need to rely on personal effort to bridge the gap.
The Work Has Already Been Done
The weight of making things right with God does not rest on human effort. Jesus has fully satisfied what was required. Trying to earn what has already been given only creates distance instead of closeness.
Help in the Middle of Temptation
Jesus understands weakness because He experienced real temptation. He is present and active, offering help and strength. The relationship is not one of accusation, but partnership in overcoming.
Living in Full Access
Instead of pulling away in moments of struggle, there is an invitation to lean in. The presence of Jesus is not conditional on performance. Access remains open, and strength is available.
Living Without Filters
Anything that distorts or limits the experience of Christ becomes a barrier. Removing those filters leads to a life marked by honesty, freedom, and closeness with Him. When scars are no longer hidden, death is no longer feared, and access is no longer diminished, life with Christ becomes fully alive.
