SUMMER Women’s Bible Study

What would it take for us to get past our fear of commitment and experience the true joy and freedom of walking with Christ? Beginning June 4, that’s the crucial question we’ll examine during our summer women’s Bible study called “Being a Disciple: Counting the Cost.” Each Tuesday over six weeks, we’ll dig deep into the gospels to explore what it means to do as Christ asks: “Come, follow me.” There won’t be any homework for these sessions, so if a lack of time has kept you from taking part before, then this series is for you! There is an $8 cost for the materials and child care will be available.

SERVING OTHERS

Dignity Ministry
First Tuesday and Wednesday of each month
This ministry serves the needs of cancer patients by making items to comfort them. Dignity Robes provides modesty for women undergoing breast and lung cancer radiation treatments, while Dignity Hats offers hats and turbans for patients. We also make small pillows to ease the aches and discomfort patients might experience during treatments. Dignity Ministry meets on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month, but please check the worship program for specific information. If you would like to serve in this ministry, contact Debby Puth at 724.336.5927 or at debputh@yahoo.com.

Beaver Women's Shelter
The women of Pathway have partnered with the Women's Shelter in Beaver to provide various items and services throughout the year for both the women who are staying there AND their children!  If you have a heart to help in this area of ministry, please contact Tamara.
