SonZone

SonZone is for kids who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade, and it will feature plenty of learning opportunities and biblical lessons. We’ll conclude with a celebration to highlight all the special moments from the week.

SonZone Unlimited — Our Unlimited special needs ministry is teaming up with SonZone to offer SonZone Unlimited! Campers who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade will be paired with a buddy and have access to the sensory rooms.

Keep in mind, not all classes listed are available to all grade levels.
- Board Games - This class will have you playing different games for inspiration to then create your own board game or card game.
- Christmas in July - Create Christmas decorations and ornaments using sea shells and glass beads
- Crafts - create different crafts throughout the week
- Crochet - learn simple crocheting pattern to make your own potholder to take home
- Dance - learn a dance routine that will be performed
- DSLP Photography - 5th graders only learning basics on how to operate the camera and then will take photos of SonZone activities to be used & shared.
- Engineering - working with different building materials to design, build and test out bridges, buildings, and other structures.
- Fitness Dance - follow along with some choreographed workout dances to some upbeat songs
- Games - learn and play different board games, card games, dices games, etc.
- Hockey - learn different hockey skills and play.
- Legos - build different Lego designs and try out exciting building challenges.
- Legos Extreme - This class will be more advanced than the Legos class - harder, more challenging builds and designs.
- Let’s Play Ball - learn and play different sport games involving a ball
- Inside Outings - participate in activities like an escape room, art classes, and movie night
- Messy Art - create pieces of art with the messiest mediums we can find
- Music - Learn and be able to play rhythms and songs with a unique instrument known as a boomwhacker.
- Nature Art - creating masterpieces using various types of items found in nature
- Royal Prep - In this class, we will explore what it means to be children of the most High King. Lessons will center around famous biblical royals like Queen Esther and King David that will teach us how to act like royals everyday.
- Salon Styling - hair, nails, and self care. Learn how to do different hairstyles, paint nails, and simply enjoy some relaxation like a day at the salon.
- Science - rockets, chemistry, explosions, oh my!
- Soccer - Enhance your soccer skills by learning how to kick, dribble, shoot, and pass.
- STEM - Get your hands on science, technology, engineering and math
