Night Out For Mending Hearts

Mending Hearts, our support group for widows, is planning an evening of fun as they venture to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School to watch the light-hearted musical “Sister Act.” The show is set for 6pm on Saturday, June 28, at the campus in Midland. Tickets are $20, which includes a light dinner. Scholarships are available if you need assistance. RSVP to Beth Mixter at 724.601.4887.

Dignity Robes provides modesty for women undergoing breast and lung cancer radiation treatments, while Dignity Hats offers hats and turbans for patients. We also make small pillows to ease the aches and discomfort patients might experience during treatments. All items benefit patients at Heritage Valley, AHN Beaver, Hillman Cancer Beaver, Dialysis Clinic Chippewa and DaVita Clinic in Moon.

Take-home kits are available for those who want to work at home.
