Christmas at Pathway

Christmas at Pathway

Advent is a season of anticipation — a time to remember that God has always been revealing Himself to His people, promise by promise, name by name. Long before shepherds heard angels or wise men followed a star, God made Himself known through His names: Jehovah Jireh, the Provider; El Roi, the God who sees; Jehovah Shalom, the Lord our peace. Each name offers a glimpse of His nature and reminds us that His desire is to reveal Himself to us, even in our waiting.

As we draw near to Christmas, every name points us to the ultimate fulfillment of God’s promises: Jesus, Emmanuel, “God with us.” He is the visible image of the invisible God — the living embodiment of every name ever spoken about Him. This Advent, let’s seek Him together as a church family.

Advent Devotions

Our Advent Devotional invites you to walk through twenty-five names of God leading up to Christmas. Each day offers a short reflection designed to help you slow down, listen, and wonder anew at who God is and how He has revealed Himself through Scripture. As you read these devotions, each written by a member of our Pathway family, may you find strength in His promises, joy in His presence and hope in His love. These names are not merely titles, they are invitations to know Him better this season and beyond.
