Day 1 - October 5

TODAY’S POSTURE: KNEEL TO PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 22:37-39
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Over the weekend we celebrated the 40th anniversary of Pathway Church. Our mission is to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Let us always be a church that loves the Lord our God with all of our hearts, and loves our neighbors as ourselves.

* Pray that the Lord would bless the years ahead, just as He has blessed the years that have passed.
* Pray that the impact of Pathway Church would expand in our community and around the world through our outreach efforts.
* Pray that all members of Pathway would respond to their calling to serve with their unique talents.
* Pray that we would be a welcoming and hospitable congregation.

Day 2 - October 6

TODAY’S POSTURE: RISE EARLY AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 28:19-20
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: One of our greatest desires at Pathway Church is to reach out to our community by spreading the love of Jesus to as many people as we can. Let us be a church where people can grow in their knowledge and faith.

* Pray for Pathway’s evangelistic impact in our community.
* Pray for eyes to see and ears to hear the material and spiritual needs of our neighbors.
* Pray for courage to share Christ with unbelievers in the places we live, work, and play.
* Pray for a spiritual revival in our region.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 1:8
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Pathway is passionate about supporting missionaries who are proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the United States, Canada, Haiti, Panama, Italy, Southeast Asia, and Kenya. Let us remember those who are working tirelessly to advance the kingdom of God.

* Pray for a revival in each country listed.

Day 4 - October 8

TODAY’S POSTURE: WRITE OUT YOUR PRAYERS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 9:31
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Two years ago, Pathway responded to the Lord’s calling and established a campus in Moon Township. Since then, God has steadily grown its congregation. As God continues to use the Moon campus for His glory, ask the Lord to reveal how you can support the ministries at Moon.

* Pray that people would come to know Christ through the Moon campus.
* Pray for wisdom for Pastor Chad and his staff.
* Pray that our kids would grow in their faith through the children’s ministry.
* Pray for more worship and children’s ministry volunteers.

Day 5 - October 9

TODAY’S POSTURE: STAND BEFORE THE LORD AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: John 4:1-13
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Since 2011, Pathway Church has focused on the lack of clean drinking water in Africa through our campaign called Give Joy to the World. Over the past four years, Pathway has helped to build 30 wells in three countries (Ethiopia, Liberia and Kenya), which have provided clean, safe drinking water for thousands. Give Joy to the World also introduces the Gospel of Jesus Christ to impoverished areas.

* Pray that the money raised to provide clean water would bring glory, honor, and praise to Jesus.
* Pray for the health and spiritual needs of the people in these countries.
* Pray that through Give Joy, many would come to know Christ as Lord and Savior.
* Pray for the Lord to reveal to you how you can contribute to Give Joy and to be receptive to his calling.

Day 6 - October 10

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY OUT LOUD
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 9:37-38
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Today is our annual Fall Festival at Pathway Church, which has been a wonderful outreach opportunity. The festival may be the first time a child or parent has ever set foot inside a church. Let’s shower them with the love of Christ as they visit and take part in the activities.

* Pray that the Holy Spirit would shine through each volunteer as they interact with our guests.
* Pray for the safety of all who attend the festival.
* Pray that this festival would introduce Jesus Christ into the lives of those who attend.
* Pray that the many families who are in need of a home church would find Pathway to be loving and welcoming — a place where they would return.

Day 7 - October 11

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY IN SILENCE AND STILLNESS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 22:6
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Pathway Church serves as the home of Royal Academy Preschool. Each year, many children between the ages of 3 through pre-kindergarten enjoy their first school experience inside our walls. The Christ-centered atmosphere at the academy gives children the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ multiple times a week.

* Pray for the safety of the children and teachers each day.
* Pray that the children would come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
* Pray that our teachers would not grow weary and find strength in the Lord.
* Pray that each teacher would reflect the love of Christ to each child.

Day 8 - October 12

TODAY’S POSTURE: KNEEL TO PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Romans 6:16-22
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Here at Pathway, we offer a variety of care and support ministries. The Chisel is a Christ-centered program that helps bring restoration by the power of our Lord Jesus. The Chisel is not only a recovery program for substance abuse, but for those who have a hurt they want to heal, a habit they need to overcome, or a hang-up they need to address.

* Pray that those involved in The Chisel will experience God’s love, restoration and forgiveness.
* Pray that each person would see and understand that Christ is sufficient.
* Pray that strongholds would be broken.
* Pray for healing.
* Pray that each person would develop a personal relationship with Christ.

Day 9 - October 13

TODAY’S POSTURE: RISE EARLY AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 14:21-23
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Every Tuesday morning our Elders meet to pray and seek the Lord’s leading and calling for Pathway Church. As they invest their time in prayer for our church, we should be lifting them up in prayer as well.

* Pray for wisdom as the Elders seek the Lord’s will.
* Pray that they would discern where the Lord is leading.
* Pray that they would put God’s desires before their own.
* Pray for protection against the plans of the enemy.

Day 10 - October 14

TODAY’S POSTURE: FAST AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 58:6-7
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Pathway Church is passionate about fighting human trafficking. The Mukti Project is an anti-trafficking ministry in India that works toward freeing young women from the devastation of sex trafficking. In West Bengal, the Justice Initiative Team is working to prevent girls from being trapped in the sex trade and addresses the needs of rescued trafficking survivors.

* Pray for the rescue and restoration for those who have been caught in trafficking.
* Pray for women who are at-risk, that they will be able to recognize trafficking schemes and find value in themselves so they do not fall victim.
* Pray that the corruption of local authorities and legal systems in Third World countries would be exposed and that justice would prevail.
* Pray that these women would find hope, strength, healing, and salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Day 11 - October 15

TODAY’S POSTURE: WRITE OUT YOUR PRAYERS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Revelation 21:4
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Pathway has a vision to meet the needs of its congregation and the community. One way we do this is through our support groups. GriefShare is a support group designed to help those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. GriefShare offers comfort and encouragement during one of life’s most difficult times, from people who understand what you are going through.

* Pray that those who are mourning the loss of a loved one would find comfort and peace through Christ Jesus.
* Pray for strength for those who are hurting.
* Pray that God would give hope to those who feel despair.
* Pray that GriefShare will come alongside them in their pain, and that they will one day be able to help others who face the same struggles.

Day 12 - October 16

TODAY’S POSTURE: STAND BEFORE THE LORD AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 1:5
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Many families at Pathway are growing through adoption. Our Path of Hope Adoption ministry supports, educates and encourages families throughout the adoption or foster-care process — both spiritually and in earthly ways. In the U.S. there are 400,000 children available for adoption, with a total of 1.4 million worldwide.

* Pray that more people heed God’s call to adoption and foster care.
* Pray that those who aren’t called realize that they can help in other ways — through babysitting, lawn care, cleaning duties, meals, and even friendship.
* Pray for adoptive families that God will lead them when they are weary, having doubts or concerns, or dealing with an adoptive child’s health issues.
* Pray that the millions of children available for adoption will someday know what it is to feel the love of a family.

Day 13 - October 17

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY OUT LOUD
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Chronicles 16:24
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: At Pathway, we are excited about advancing the Gospel both locally and around the world. Next year, we are embarking on two short-term mission trip opportunities. First is a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, which will be from February 27 to March 5. Our second trip is to Kenya, which is planned for March 5 to 15. As we prepare to invest globally through each of these trips, we want you to be aware of the opportunities to Pray, Give, and Go.

* Pray that God would help us to discern and assemble the right teams of workers for these trips.
* Pray that the name of Jesus will be proclaimed both here and around the world.
* Ask God how you can support these short-term mission trips, whether it’s by praying, giving, or going.

Day 14 - October 18

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY IN SILENCE AND STILLNESS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 95:6-7
HOW TO PRAY: Tonight we are hosting a prayer and worship event at Pathway. We hope that you will join us for an evening that is sure to enrich our hearts and minds as we worship our Lord and Savior.

* Pray that our hearts and minds would be fully surrendered to Jesus.
* Pray that during the service, the Holy Spirit would fill each of us.
* Pray that we would be receptive to what the Holy Spirit is prompting.
* Pray that the Lord would be glorified.

Day 15 - October 19

TODAY’S POSTURE: KNEEL TO PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 3:20
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: We launched our ALL IN initiative over the weekend. During the four weeks the campaign runs, let us take the time to seek God’s wisdom and leading for our lives. Ask how He would like you to be All In with your time, talents, and treasure so that God can do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.

* Pray that the people of Pathway would be All In with a commitment to serve the Lord and respond with generosity.
* Pray that this project would result in even greater unity among the people of Pathway.
* Pray for the Lord’s guidance and wisdom to those leading this effort.

Day 16 - October 20

TODAY’S POSTURE: RISE EARLY AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 10:24-25
HOW TO PRAY: As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to three priorities: 1. Greater Contribution — We must be contributors, not just consumers. 2. Greater Unity — By taking community seriously, we must hold one another accountable and bear each other’s burdens. 3. Greater Preparation — We must always keep the bigger version of what God has for us in mind. Our motivation is the coming of Christ!

* Pray that we would take the priority of community seriously.
* Pray to have the mindset to see what God can do through us — not just for us.
* Pray for the ability to serve in preparation for the many things God has for us.
* Pray that we would minister to one another by bearing each other’s burdens.

Day 17 - October 21

TODAY’S POSTURE: FAST AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 14:12-14
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: As we begin to think of the building project, one of the highlights will be a room fully equipped for special needs children.
Unfortunately, many families who have a loved one with special needs feel they are unable to attend services because most churches are unable to accommodate their specific needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for Pathway to make these families feel welcome, cared for, and loved.

* Pray that God would provide wisdom in the planning of this space and service.
* Pray that God would appoint specially trained volunteers who can emulate the love of Christ to each child and family.
* Pray for the outreach opportunity this will be to families in our community.
* Pray that this ministry would be a blessing to these families and that they would see the love of Christ in the care of their children.

Day 18 - October 22

TODAY’S POSTURE: WRITE OUT YOUR PRAYERS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Revelation 7:9-10
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: As many of you know, Pathway Church has a long-term partnership in Orkarkar, a remote village in Kenya, by helping to provide infrastructure for a former semi-nomadic people, the Maasai. Our hope is to invest in every dimension of life with resources and through equipping indigenous leaders in order that our neighbors in Orkarkar may flourish and be a beacon of light to the glory of God.

* Pray for the young, growing church in Orkarkar.
* Pray for James Nabaala as he pastors the church in Orkarkar.
* Pray that many people in the Orkarkar region would be exposed to the Gospel, and that they would place their faith in Jesus Christ.
* Pray for the new school established through the efforts of Pathway.
* Pray for the upcoming 2016 Kenya mission team as it is formed and makes preparations.

Day 19 - October 23

TODAY’S POSTURE: STAND BEFORE THE LORD AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Deuteronomy 14:28-29
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: As a church, we have a duty to care for the widows and widowers in our community. Ask the Lord how you can help to be an encouragement in the lives of those who have lost a spouse.

* Pray that God would comfort those who are grieving the loss of a spouse.
* Pray that God would fill each of their hearts with hope and that they would trust in God’s faithfulness in their lives.
* Pray that the Lord would strengthen them in His power, and give them wisdom to lean on Him and persevere in their calling.
* Pray that God would give them discernment as they navigate through the days ahead.

Day 20 - October 24

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY OUT LOUD
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 1:4-8
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: God is working mightily in the lives of many at Pathway who are passionate about investing in our youth. Earlier this year, we were blessed to have Dustin Thompson become the Pastor of Student Ministries.

* Pray for Pastor Dustin as he shepherds our students according to God’s design.
* Pray for the many leaders who serve in our student ministry, that they would grow in unity and pursue God personally each day.
* Pray that the students would trust in Christ as their Lord and Savior.
* Pray that the students would be transformed by the renewing of their minds.
* Pray that those serving in the ministry would be humble, pure and committed.
* Pray for students to be passionate about being and making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Day 21 - October 25

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY IN SILENCE AND STILLNESS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 9:10-11
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: As more young families are drawn to our congregation, a challenge we face is a shortage of space in our Children’s Ministry. While that’s a wonderful problem, it’s still a problem. We need to find space to accommodate our growing number of children each week.

* Pray that God would provide wisdom in knowing how to best utilize the space we have until the new building is complete.
* Pray for the safety of the children and staff each week.
* Pray that our Children’s Ministry would continue to grow, and that God would continue to provide space until the expansion project is finished.
* Pray for wisdom and discernment for the Children’s Ministry staff as they continue to work tirelessly for the spiritual growth of our children.

Day 22 - October 26

TODAY’S POSTURE: KNEEL TO PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Job 38:4-6
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Over the last year and a half, a building team has been working to address the lack of space in our Children’s Ministry. Since the congregation approved the expansion project, the team is meeting more frequently and has many important items to focus on.

* Pray for the completion of the design-build stage.
* Pray for wisdom as any changes become part of the process.
* Pray for God’s guidance on design challenges.
* Pray for clarity and wisdom as we receive bids on design, electrical and mechanical, etc.

Day 23 - October 27

TODAY’S POSTURE: RISE EARLY AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Romans 8:26-27
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: The Bible tells us to be “devoted to prayer” (Col. 4:2), yet far too often we get distracted by busyness and our prayer life suffers. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in this essential component of spiritual growth. Allow ordinary moments to be the catalyst for communicating with God.

* Pray that the Holy Spirit would be present and interceding on your behalf each time you pray.
* Pray that God would stir in your heart a desire to be devoted to prayer.
* Pray that God would help you seize opportunities throughout your day to pray.
* Pray and give thanks to God for who He is and what He has done for you.
* Pray to remember the requests of others and not just your own.

Day 24 - October 28

TODAY’S POSTURE: FAST AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 13:17-18
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: We tend to look at those in church leadership and assume that they have it all together. But our pastors and church leaders are facing spiritual battles — often more than the rest of us. Satan is pursuing them with discouragement and defeat as his weapons. Let us be mindful of the power we have through the name of Jesus in covering our pastors and church leaders in prayer.

* Pray that our pastors and leaders would remain men of integrity and faithfulness.
* Pray that they would be bold in preaching the uncompromised Word of God.
* Pray for the Lord to give wisdom and discernment to our pastors and leaders as they shepherd our congregation.
* Pray for their protection in Jesus’ name against Satan’s lies, schemes, and temptations.

Day 25 - October 29

TODAY’S POSTURE: WRITE OUT YOUR PRAYERS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Philemon 1:6
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Our College Ministry reaches more than 200 students a week, connecting young people from various backgrounds at an important time in their lives. Through our ministry, these students are digging deeper into the Gospel, growing in their faith, and learning to do life together as disciples of Christ.

* Pray for these students to own their faith and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
* Pray that they would find opportunities to serve in the ministries at Pathway.
* Pray for wisdom as they make crucial choices — relationally, sexually and spiritually.

Day 26 - October 30

TODAY’S POSTURE: STAND BEFORE THE LORD AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Colossians 3:23-24
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: The ALL IN theme is meant to encourage us as a body of Christ. First, ALL IN is an opportunity for us to invest in reaching, loving and serving those the Lord has placed on our hearts. Second, ALL IN is an initiative to spread the good news of Jesus and see growth in understanding the grace of God. Lastly, All IN is a realization that our calling as a church starts locally, but goes far beyond that. It’s investing ourselves, beyond ourselves, to see lives changed.

* Pray that we would be ALL IN to reach.
* Pray that we would be ALL IN to love.
* Pray that we would be ALL IN to serve.
* Pray that we would be ALL IN to give.

Day 27 - October 31

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY OUT LOUD
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:28
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: No matter how mature our faith might be, we all need someone who will listen, care, and walk with us through life’s storms. God has called us to “bear one another’s burdens” (Gal. 6:2) and that is why Pathway Church has established the Stephen Ministry. If you feel God calling you to provide emotional and spiritual support to those experiencing difficult times, prayerfully consider becoming a Stephen Minister.

* Pray that those who are experiencing difficulties will find comfort and support through our Stephen Ministry.
* Pray that God would provide Stephen Ministers to come alongside those who need support and encouragement.
* Pray that God would give hope and strength to those who are overwhelmed by life’s circumstances.
* Pray that the Stephen Ministry would reach those in our community who are hurting.

Day 28 - November 1

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY IN SILENCE AND STILLNESS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 7:15-17
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Pathway offers help for those who have experienced the devastation of divorce through our DivorceCare support group. DivorceCare helps individuals learn how to deal with the pain of the past, and how to look forward to rebuilding their future.

* Pray that God would comfort those going through a divorce.
* Pray that God would bring good from the pain and suffering.
* Pray for those who struggle with guilt, that they would find forgiveness and restoration through Jesus Christ.
* Pray for children who are hurting from the divorce of their parents, that God would give them a sense of security.
* Pray that DivorceCare would help introduce Christ into the lives of family members going through a divorce.

Day 29 - November 2

TODAY’S POSTURE: KNEEL TO PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 19:13-14
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: One of the largest ministries at Pathway is our Children’s Ministry. As God continues to grow this area, we need more volunteers to serve. Whether it’s holding babies, being a leader at AWANA, or signing children into Crosstown each week, your service would be a great blessing. As you pray today, consider volunteering in one of our children’s programs.

* Pray that our kids would encounter God’s love and accept His gift of salvation.
* Pray that our kids would learn and understand God’s Word and each child would feel and know God’s love, regardless of life’s circumstances.
* Pray that God would provide leaders who will model His love to our children and that they would be encouraged as they serve.
* Pray that our children and parents would invite neighbors and friends who do not know God.

Day 30 - November 3

TODAY’S POSTURE: RISE EARLY AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 2 Chronicles 7:14
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: As Americans, many of us will exercise our right to vote today. The Constitution prohibits federal and state governments from denying a citizen the right to vote based on “race, color, or previous condition of servitude.” Let us thank God today for the nation we live in, and for the many freedoms we take for granted.

* Pray that the Lord would bless our country with His wisdom, love, and compassion.
* Pray that we would pursue His plans for us — as a nation and individually.
* Pray that our President and those who are in positions of authority would realize their need for the Lord’s direction, and that they would follow His guidance.
* Pray for our troops and God’s blessing upon our servicemen and women.
* Pray and thank God for the many blessings and liberties we have as Americans.

Day 31 - November 4

TODAY’S POSTURE: FAST AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Timothy 4:12
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Now that the school year is in full swing, we have an opportunity as a church to lift up our students in prayer. With the many pressures students and teachers face each day in the classroom, let’s remember them daily.

* Pray that our local schools would be safe places for kids to learn and grow.
* Pray that Christian administrators, teachers, faculty and students would boldly proclaim Christ throughout their schools through word and deed.
* Pray to know how Pathway can come alongside schools by serving and blessing.
* Pray that our students would not fall into temptation of the enemy.

Day 32 - November 5

TODAY’S POSTURE: WRITE OUT YOUR PRAYERS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 2 Timothy 2:15
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: At Pathway, we are thankful to have a wonderful children’s ministry called AWANA , which stands for “Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed.” This is a discipleship program geared to the interests and abilities of our kids as they learn about God’s Word. More than 200 children participated last year. Each week children learn Bible verses, play games, talk about spiritual truths, make friends, and much more.

* Pray that God would continue to grow this discipleship ministry.
* Pray that new children would have a great time connecting with other kids and leaders, playing games and learning about God.
* Pray for the children to gain a passion for knowing God’s Word.
* Pray for the children to recall memory verses, not only on AWANA nights, but whenever they may need God’s assurance and guidance.
* Pray that the leaders would stay healthy and blessed for serving our children.

Day 33 - November 6

TODAY’S POSTURE: STAND BEFORE THE LORD IN PRAYER
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 46:4 HOW TO PRAY TODAY: At Pathway, many of our older adults contribute mightily for the cause of Christ. Since they have more time and the wisdom from years of walking with the Lord, they can offer spiritual and practical counsel to younger families, visit shut-ins or those in hospitals and nursing homes, and assist in our children’s ministry. PrimeTimers is a ministry devoted to becoming a family for our older adults.

* Please pray for our widows and widowers, that they would find comfort and friendship through PrimeTimers.
* Pray for those dealing with illness.
* Pray that PrimeTimers would reflect the love of Christ to the lost.
* Pray that God would encourage our older adults to serve and share their wisdom with the younger generation.
* Pray that as a congregation, we would love, support, encourage and respect the elderly.
* Pray that God would open our eyes to those around us who are lonely, sick, and afraid. In turn, that we would respond with compassion and care for their needs.

Day 34 - November 7

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY OUT LOUD
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 1:17
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: At Pathway, we are ministry partners with Tiger Pause, a Christ-centered, community-based organization that serves Beaver County’s young people and their families. Through its unique programs, Tiger Pause helps students hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and watch the Lord redeem lives, build leaders, and transform communities.

* Pray for wisdom and discernment for the staff.
* Pray that many students would know the love of Christ and become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
* Pray that the ministry at Tiger Pause would transform our community.
* Pray for the proper resources and the right people to continue bringing compassion and wholeness to our community and its students.

Day 35 - November 8

TODAY’S POSTURE: PRAY IN SILENCE AND STILLNESS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 3:5-6
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Single parenting is becoming more common in the United States. It is estimated that half or more of today’s children will likely spend at least part of their childhood in a single parent family. Because many single parents are afraid, exhausted, overwhelmed, and needing guidance to resolve conflict, Pathway has established a support group for single parents and their families.

* Pray that this group will effectively minister to the single parents in our church and community.
* Pray that this group would be a great way to reach out to our community.
* Pray that single parents would grow closer to the Lord, while gaining valuable tools to help their parenting.

Day 36 - November 9

TODAY’S POSTURE: KNEEL TO PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 100:1-5
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: No matter which service you attend, worship is a key element of the experience. True worship is a heartfelt expression of love, adoration, admiration, fascination, wonder, and celebration. It’s a time when we can praise God for who He is and thank Him for what He has done. God commands it, He desires it, He pursues it, He deserves it, and He rewards it. God bestows His provision, grace, sovereignty, and power on those who worship Him in spirit and in truth.

* Pray that our worship would lead to gratitude to our Provider and Sustainer.
* Pray that our worship would lead to accountability to our God and King.
* Pray that our worship would lead to sacrificial love for our neighbor.
* Pray that our worship would lead us to boldly proclaim the Gospel.

Day 37 - November 10

TODAY’S POSTURE: RISE EARLY AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 2:42
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Connecting with other believers is important, and that’s why we encourage all who attend Pathway Church to be in a small group. Small groups are a great way to help people meet others and navigate life together. These groups usually meet at the home of a leader or host, and discussion focuses on the most current sermon.

* Pray that small groups grow in the areas of Gospel, community, and mission.
* Pray that participants would grow in relationship to God and to one another.
* Pray that small groups would have a burden to show and share the Gospel in the community.

Day 38 - November 11

TODAY’S POSTURE: FAST AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: James 1:2-4
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: The truth is, being a Christian isn’t always easy. In fact, the Bible tells us that we will face “trials of many kinds.” It is important to remember that God has a purpose for our trials and that He will see us through each step of the way. Sometimes God allows painful experiences to help cleanse and purify us, to test us, and to demonstrate His power to sustain us. Ultimately, hardships strengthen our testimony, and after the storm has passed, we can look back and see the Lord’s hand carrying us through.

* Pray that through our trials we would see things from the Lord’s perspective.
* Pray that through our trials we would remain faithful and devoted to Christ.
* Pray that our testimony would be strengthened through our hardships and, in turn, we can encourage others when they experience difficult times.
* Pray that we would witness God’s sustaining power in our lives.

Day 39 - November 12

TODAY’S POSTURE WRITE OUT YOUR PRAYERS
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Mark 9:21-24
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: Faith is at the core of our Christian experience. All too often we allow doubts, fears, and circumstances to interfere. When our faith is wavering, our confidence will be affected and we can become spiritually unsteady. Yet God invites us to draw near to Him so He can strengthen our trust in Him. Ask the Lord to fill you with His peace so He can turn your unbelief into belief.

* Pray that we would trust God to work in our hearts to fulfill His good purposes.
* Pray that God would fill us with joy and anticipation as we surrender to His plans and timing.
* Pray that we would not be discouraged by our own understanding, but that we would experience peace to fully trust and surrender our lives to Christ.
* Pray that we would be willing to walk by faith and not by sight.

Day 40 - November 13

TODAY’S POSTURE: STAND BEFORE THE LORD AND PRAY
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Timothy 6:12-16
HOW TO PRAY TODAY: What a wonderful 40 days this has been! As we finish off our days of prayer, let us fully surrender our hearts and minds to our Lord and Savior. Let us humble ourselves before His throne, and seek Him in all we do as we go forward.

* Pray that we would remain committed to prayer.
* Pray that we would remain strong in our relationship with the Lord and continue to fight the good fight.
* Pray that the Lord would help us to be alert and self-controlled.
* Pray that God would give us the grace to forgive others, just as Christ forgave us.
* Pray that we would love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
